Meet Dr. Black!
Dr. Black brings extensive experience and a strong commitment to pediatric healthcare to her practice. She earned her undergraduate degree in Biology from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia, before receiving her medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia. She then completed her pediatric residency at Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters in Norfolk.
Dr. Black is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and received numerous awards during medical school in recognition of her achievements. She also previously served as Chairperson of the Department of Pediatrics at Mease Countryside Hospital in Safety Harbor, Florida.
Outside of caring for her patients, Dr. Black enjoys spending quality time with her husband and daughter. Her many interests include rowing, photography, playing piano, scuba diving, skiing, and camping!
