John Viverito, M.D.

Dr. Viverito completed his undergraduate education at Northeastern Illinois University and his medical degree at Chicago’s Loyola University. He finished his residency at the University of Chicago’s affiliate Michael Reese Hospital. He practiced in Chicago to fulfill his National Health Service Corps Scholar commitment working at a City of Chicago Board of Health Clinic and he then practiced in Chicago’s western suburbs before moving to the Clearwater area where he has been a pediatrician for more than 27 years. Dr. Viverito served as Clinical Assistant / Affiliate Professor in the USF, Morton Plant Family Practice Residency Program. He also, held a teaching appointment at Michael Reese Hospital. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and he is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Viverito is married with an adult daughter. In addition to having fun with his grandchildren, he enjoys running, sailing and gardening.
