Janet Black, M.D.

Dr. Black concluded her undergraduate studies at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA with a degree in Biology. She received her M.D. from the Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, VA. She completed her residency in pediatrics at Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters in Norfolk. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and received numerous awards during medical school. Dr. Black is a former Chairperson of the Department of Pediatrics at Mease Countryside Hospital in Safety Harbor, FL. Dr. Black cherishes her time with her husband and daughter and enjoys rowing, photography, piano, scuba diving, skiing and camping.
